What Is Spinal Cord Stimulation?

Spinal Cord Stimulation is an FDA-approved, implantable neuromodulation technology often referred to as a “pacemaker for pain”. It works by interrupting the pain signals traveling between your spinal nerves and your brain.

A tiny device (generator) is placed under the skin and connected to thin, flexible wires (leads) positioned near the spinal cord.
